REID COLLINS ATTORNEYS P. JASON COLLINS and JEREMY WELLS WIN KEY RULING DENYING SKILLED NURSING FACILITY‘S MOTION TO DISMISS QUI TAM CLAIMS EXCEEDING $94 MILLION

In an important False Claims Act ruling on November 13th, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas denied a motion to dismiss the core qui tam claims against Creative Solutions in Healthcare Inc. by Integra Med Analytics LLC alleging that the operator of a network of skilled nursing facilities engaged in a scheme to defraud the Medicare system by pressuring therapists to deploy Ultra High Rehab on patients regardless of need, training therapists to fraudulently bill for Ultra High Rehab, and enforcing fraudulent policies to maximize patient stays to the maximum 100 day period covered by Medicare Part A.
