REID COLLINS NAMED U.S. BANKRUPTCY FIRM OF THE YEAR BY BENCHMARK

March 13, 2024 – Reid Collins & Tsai LLP was named the 2024 U.S. Bankruptcy Firm of the Year at the Benchmark Litigation Awards, besting a selection of the nation’s top Big Law corporate defense firms. The firm was also a Finalist for U.S. “Plaintiff Firm of The Year” for the sixth consecutive year.

Founding partner William T. Reid, IV (the 2020 and 2023 winner) was again selected as a Finalist for U.S. “Plaintiff Litigator of Year” for the fifth consecutive year, as well as a Finalist for U.S. “Bankruptcy Litigator of the Year.”

The Benchmark awards celebrate the leading litigators and most impactful disputes across the United States. The shortlists are the culmination of months of research, surveying thousands of referees, and interviewing hundreds of lawyers.

February 2024 – Legal periodical Lawdragon has named Senior Founding Partner William T. “Bill” Reid, IV, to its exclusive list of industry “Legends.”

Lawdragon is known for profiling the work of the top lawyers and law firms across the country. After years of recognizing Reid and other Reid Collins partners in a variety of practice areas, Lawdragon’s 2024 class of “Legends” includes an elite group of the nation’s finest lawyers, featuring accomplishments on both sides of the aisle from coast to coast.

In honoring Reid, Lawdragon cited he and other Legends who have “formed new firms and built them to great heights…helped victims of sexual abuse and harassment find pathways to justice… championed victims of pharmaceutical destruction and financial villains who too often escape public justice.”

BILL REID AND REID COLLINS ARE SUBJECT OF LAWDRAGON FEATURE ON BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL CULTURE AND “HOW TO LOVE THE LAW”

Prominent long-form legal periodical Lawdragon has published a feature on Reid Collins and Founder William T. “Bill” Reid, IV focused on the firm’s path from upstart to one of the nation’s top trial boutiques.

KEITH COHAN NAMED A RISING STAR BY TEXAS LAWYER

Reid Collins Partner Keith Y. Cohan was named one of a select group of “Rising Stars” by Texas Lawyer as part of its Texas Legal Awards for 2023.

“Acknowledged for their impactful contributions and successes,” Cohan and the other Rising Stars (the state’s top lawyers 40 years of age and under) will each be profiled by the publication in the coming weeks and months.
