REID COLLINS & TSAI WELCOMES NEW ASSOCIATES ALEX RIGBY, JULIA GOKHBERG, AND SETH ROYE

October 2024 – Reid Collins & Tsai LLP is pleased to welcome three new associates to its nationally recognized team of commercial trial lawyers:

  • Alex Rigby, a 2023 honors graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, joins the firm’s Delaware office after clerking for Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick in the Delaware Court of Chancery. In law school, Alex was the Featured Content Editor and on the Editorial Board of the Texas Law Review and Executive Editor of the Texas Review of Entertainment and Sports Law. He also interned for the Hon. Lee Yeakel in the U.S.D.C., Western District of Texas and was a summer associate and clerk at several prominent firms – including Reid Collins – during law school. Prior to that, Alex taught French at the Charter School of Wilmington and worked in news technology at Dataminr in London. Alex obtained his B.A. with distinction at the University of Virginia as a full merit Jefferson Scholar and Echols Scholar in Economics and Government.
  • Julia Gokhberg joins the firm’s Austin office after receiving her J.D. from Stanford Law School with Pro Bono distinction in 2024. At law school, Julia was the Symposium Editor of the Stanford Law Review Vol. 76, Co-President of SLS First Generation & Low-Income Professionals (FLI), Events and Communications Chair of SLS Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Association (PLA), and the John Hart Ely Prize recipient for Outstanding Performance in Employment Discrimination. During law school, she was a summer associate at several prominent plaintiffs’ firms including Reid Collins. Before attending law school, she was the Employees’ Rights Litigation Manager for a plaintiffs’-side employment discrimination boutique in New York City. Julia is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Swarthmore College where she obtained her B.A. in Economics and Political Science and was captain of the women’s tennis team. She is also on the board of the National Plaintiffs’ Law Association.
  • Seth Roye has joined the Austin office of Reid Collins. Seth received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 2024, where the Texas Law Review published his student note. While in law school, he served as a teaching assistant for first-year Property classes and participated in interscholastic moot court and mock trial competitions—winning a moot court competition twice. Seth was also a summer associate at several top law firms including Reid Collins during law school. Upon graduation, he was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers. Prior to law school he worked at ExxonMobil in multiple capacities as an Engineer and Manufacturing Coordinator. Seth earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
