In its 2025 guide to leading law firms and lawyers, Chambers USA has once again recognized Reid Collins as one of the nation’s top trial boutiques, ranking the firm as Band 1 (Chambers’ highest ranking) for general commercial litigation in Texas.

LISA TSAI NAMED 2025 TITAN OF THE PLAINTIFFS BAR BY LAW360

Reid Collins Co-Founder and Managing Partner Lisa S. Tsai has been named a 2025 Titan of the Plaintiff Bar, Law360’s exclusive list honoring the accomplishments of a handful of the nation’s leading commercial trial lawyers

Lisa is among just 11 attorneys recognized for prosecuting high-stakes plaintiff litigation across the country and for “secur[ing] billions of dollars in settlements and judgments for both classes and individual plaintiffs against massive companies and organizations.”

Law360’s profile documents Lisa’s meteoric rise in the industry. The daughter of Chinese immigrants, she was initially set on a career in broadcast journalism before turning her innate desire to seek out the truth and achieve justice to a career in law. After a stint in Big Law, she co-founded Reid Collins & Tsai LLP and over the past 15 years has led its ascension, along with Bill Reid, into one of the nation’s leading plaintiffs litigation firms.

KEITH COHAN AND RYAN GOLDSTEIN DISCUSS PRO BONO PARTNERSHIP WITH ACLU OF LOUISIANA’S JUSTICE LAB ON PLI PODCAST

Reid Collins Partners Keith Y. Cohan and Ryan M. Goldstein joined Nora Ahmed of the ACLU of Louisiana for the Practising Law Institute’s podcast “Defending Constitutional Rights Pro Bono,” part of its series “Pursuing Justice: The Pro Bono Files.”

Cohan and Goldstein share their thoughts about the ACLU of Louisiana’s Justice Lab and its longstanding advocacy for individuals impacted by discriminatory policing, as well as how the pursuit of justice in dozens of these cases can lead to systemic reforms.

In partnership with the Justice Lab initiative, Cohan and Goldstein represent Teliah Perkins and her son De’Shaun Johnson in civil rights cases arising from the violent arrest of Ms. Perkins in her own driveway for alleged minor traffic violations she did not commit. At De’Shaun’s May 2024 trial in Louisiana federal court, Cohan and Goldstein – along with their Reid Collins colleague Emma Culotta – obtained the first jury verdict victory in the history of Justice Lab, winning a $185,000 award for intentional infliction of emotional distress. Ms. Perkins’ case is pending appeal at the U.S. Supreme Court.
