Emma Culotta

Emma Culotta is a senior associate in the Austin office of Reid Collins & Tsai. Emma has represented plaintiffs in matters involving professional malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract. She also has experience in complex commercial litigation arising out of bankruptcy proceedings, including litigation involving fraudulent transfers, claims against directors and officers, and professional malpractice claims against audit and law firms. In September 2023, Emma third-chaired a seven-day arbitration proceeding before an Arbitration Panel comprised of three former state and federal judges, prosecuting claims against a private equity firm arising out of the pretextual termination of the firm’s female co-founder and partner. Emma was also a key member of the trial team that obtained the first jury verdict victory for the ACLU of Louisiana’s Justice Lab before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in May 2024. She also has experience working with e-discovery platforms to streamline the document production and review process in complex cases.

Emma received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, where she served as Research Editor of the Texas Law Review and a Board Member of Texas Law Fellowships. Upon graduation, Emma was named Clerk of the Chancellors, the Law School’s most prestigious honor society, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Emma earned her B.S.M., summa cum laude, from Tulane University, where she majored in Finance and minored in French.
